“FacebookFacebook maps relationships between people,YelpYelp maps relationship between people and local businesses, AmazonAmazon.com maps relationships between people and products. Jumo, which will launch a beta product later this year, will map the relationships between people and non-profit organizations.”

Chris Hughes, the former director of online organizing for the Obama campaign and co-founder of Facebook is working on a new project.  This video isn’t short but is worth the listen.

Social Media is more than sharing pictures of your cat.  Real things happen when strategic thinking and connecting is enabled.

More organizations are now hiring us specifically to do social strategy work with them.

In retail, restaurants and realty, people used to say location, location, location.  Then, with print and websites they said content is king.  Well, content is still king, but LIVE and REGULARLY UPDATED  content at a socially findable location is, well, way beyond king!

If your company or non-profit is online in any way at all, ensure it has sharing capabilities and strong connections to facebook and twitter, for starters.  Call me if I can help with this.
